Caregiver app for iPhone & Android
The caregiver app that works where the signal doesn’t.
Clock in from the scheduled shift, work the client’s Plan of Care, collect their signature and see the week’s hours. On iPhone, on Android, or in any phone’s browser, with or without a connection.
- No GPS and no location permission
- Saves everything on the phone when there’s no signal
- Caregivers see only their own clients and shifts
A shift in the app
Four screens, start to finish.
The app opens on the next shift. Everything a caregiver does during a visit happens on the Today tab.
Offline first
Basements, rural roads, dead zones. The visit still gets documented.
When the app opens, it keeps the caregiver’s schedule, clients and care plans on the phone. Clock-ins, the aide note and the client’s signature are saved on the device as they happen and send the moment a connection comes back.
A banner always says what’s waiting to send. If the phone had to use its own clock for a clock-in or clock-out, the visit is marked “Recorded offline” so the office can confirm it.
Hours and paperwork
No timesheet to fill in. No paper to drive back to the office.
The Timesheet tab shows the week’s hours as they’re counted, with overtime and holiday hours called out. Each client’s weekly timesheet and aide notes are a tap away as PDFs in the paper-form layout, ready to share with a family.
Caregivers also read their in-service lessons and take the exam on the same phone. See timesheets and training.
For owners and admins
The office works on the web.
The phone app is built for the people who clock in. Owners and admins run the agency from the AideBook web app, on a computer or in a phone’s browser: who’s on shift right now, the visits that need review, the week’s approved hours, scheduling, Plans of Care and training.
Everything a caregiver does in the app reaches the office as it happens, or as soon as the phone gets a signal back.

Questions
Caregiver app questions
The native iPhone and Android app is rolling out to early-access agencies now, through TestFlight and Google Play testing first. Until your agency is on it, caregivers use the same screens in their phone’s browser and can add AideBook to the home screen.
No. The app doesn’t request location access, or the camera, contacts or photos. Caregivers clock in from the shift the office scheduled, and the visit is proven by the completed care plan and the client’s signature.
Only their own work: today’s shifts, their schedule and visit history, the clients assigned to them with the parts of each care plan the office shares, their timesheet, and their in-service training.
Yes. The caregiver’s schedule, clients and care plans are kept on the phone. Clock-ins, the aide note and the client’s signature save on the device and send when a connection returns. A banner shows what is still waiting to send.
The agency invites them. There’s no public sign-up: a caregiver gets an invitation, sets a password and signs in with their email.
Not yet. The phone app is for caregivers. Owners and admins run the agency from the AideBook web app, which works on a computer or a phone’s browser: reviewing visits, scheduling, care plans, timesheets and training. If an owner or admin signs in to the phone app, it points them to the web.
From Settings → Delete account in the app, by asking their agency, or by emailing us. Logging out erases everything the app kept on the phone. See the delete-your-account page for what the agency keeps as its own records.
