About AideBook

Built inside a working home care agency.

AideBook started as one private-pay agency’s replacement for its paper caregiver notes: the binder in the client’s home, the weekly timesheets, and the Friday afternoon spent adding them up.

Why it exists

The paperwork was the job nobody was hired to do.

In a small agency the owner is often the scheduler, the payroll clerk and the person who drives out to collect signed notes. Most home care software is built for agencies that bill Medicaid, with the EVV, claims and GPS rules that come with it. A private-pay agency needs something smaller: a record of each visit the client signed, and hours that are right on payroll.

How we build it

What we hold to.

  • The visit is the product.

Clock in, work the Plan of Care, get it signed, clock out. Everything else in AideBook either feeds those four steps or reads from them.

  • Caregivers work where the signal isn’t.

Basements, rural roads, apartment towers. Clock-ins, notes and signatures save on the phone and send when a connection returns.

  • Proof without tracking.

No GPS and no location permission. A visit is proven by the completed care plan and the client’s signature, or the recorded reason they couldn’t sign.

  • Paper people already trust.

Timesheets, aide notes and Plans of Care print in the paper-form layout families and insurers already know.

  • Nothing hidden, nothing overwritten.

Every correction needs a reason and is added to the visit’s record. A change after the client signed is flagged for the office.

  • Small on purpose.

No claims, no eligibility checks, no clinical charting. An owner-operator can set it up in one sitting, without an implementation project.

Who it’s for

Private-pay and long-term-care-insurance agencies.

Non-medical home care: personal care, homemaker and companion services, hourly, live-in and continuous cases. If your agency bills Medicaid for personal care, your state’s EVV system still applies to those visits, and AideBook isn’t a replacement for it.
